Every Hustle Boxing class starts and finishes with a unique stretch routine which is put together by our expert trainers to compliment the exercises in the class!

Stretching is a fundamental component of physical fitness and overall well - being. Let’s face it, almost all of us don’t do enough of it.

Some of the benefits of stretching before class are;

- Enhancing your range of motion
- Preparing your muscles & joints for activity
- Improve your athletic performance
- Reduce the risk of injuries
- Mental preparation for what’s about to come!

Some of the benefits of stretching after class are;

- Aids in muscle recovery
- Reduces muscle soreness
- Promotes relaxation and stress relief (who doesn’t need that?!?)
- Prevents muscle imbalances

A few tips to get the most out of your stretching are;

- Lightly warm up first
- Avoid bouncing - smooth movements only
- Listen to your body - stretch to the point of mild discomfort, not pain
- Maintain proper technique
- Breath naturally (don’t hold your breath)
- Consistency is KEY!

We know life is busy and some of us have to race out the door the second the high intensity side of a class is over, but if you can spare the extra 5 minutes to stay for a stretch, we know your body will thank you for it!
