Eyes on the prize!

With Christmas now just 3 weeks away, here are our tips to avoid a silly season blow out!

1. Move your body! Naturally, we encourage you to keep your Hustle Boxing schedule and attend as many classes as you can.. But, if you can’t, any movement is better than no movement! Take a 20 minute walk, do some stretching, take the stairs. You get the drift!
2. Don’t arrive to an event hungry - this is a guaranteed way to overindulge! Try and snack on protein rich foods throughout the day and avoid going ham (😉) on the finger foods
3. Prioritise - the silly season is nuts! There is so much on and so many people to see. Remember, you don’t have to go to every single event that you’re invited to. Pick the ones that really mean something to you and think about passing on the rest
4. Maintain your discipline. We’re absolutely encouraging of having a good time and letting your hair down but don’t let one or two occasions make you feel like you’ve thrown the whole month out. Every good day you have during the silly season makes a difference in the long run.
5. Plan ahead - think about what is an acceptable amount to eat or drink and stick to the plan, you will thank yourself for it the next day!
6. There are some great non alcoholic options available now. We’re not telling everyone not to have a drink (each to their own) but the silly season is a long game and you need every tool available to get through it in one piece!
7. Rest and recover - make sure you set some time aside to give back to your body. Saunas and ice baths are a great option to reset and clear toxins from your body. Remember to TRY to get a reasonable amount of sleep
8. Don’t drink and drive - ever!
9. Use the time to start thinking about your health and fitness goals for 2025 and if you’re ready to go, you’re allowed to start now!
10. Have fun - you’ve worked hard all year and we want all of our members and guests to have an amazing silly season. We’re here to help you get through it!
